The strategic positioning of my country’s coal chemical industry has not been clear

The strategic positioning of industrial development is not clear. Coal is the main force of China’s energy self-sufficiency. The society lacks awareness of modern coal chemical industry and green high-end chemical industry that can be clean and efficient, and partly replace petrochemical industry, and then “de-coalization” and “smelling chemical discoloration” appear, which makes China’s coal chemical industry strategically positioned It has not been clear and clear, which has led to policy changes and the feeling that enterprises are riding a “roller coaster”.

Intrinsic deficiencies affect the level of industrial competitiveness. Coal chemical industry itself has low energy utilization and resource conversion efficiency, and environmental protection problems caused by the “three wastes”, especially coal chemical wastewater, are prominent; due to the indispensable hydrogen adjustment (conversion) reaction in modern coal chemical technology, water consumption and carbon emissions are high ; Due to the large number of primary products, the inadequate development of refined, differentiated, and specialized downstream products, the comparative advantage of the industry is not obvious, and the competitiveness is not strong; due to the gap in technology integration and production management, product costs are high, and overall efficiency remains to be Improve etc.

The external environment restricts industrial development. Petroleum price and supply, product capacity and market, resource allocation and taxation, credit financing and return, environmental capacity and water use, greenhouse gas and emission reduction are all external factors that affect the development of my country’s coal chemical industry. The single or superimposed factors in certain periods and certain regions not only severely restricted the healthy development of coal chemical industry, but also greatly reduced the economic anti-risk ability of the formed industries.

Should improve economic efficiency and anti-risk ability

Energy security is an overall and strategic issue related to China’s economic and social development. Faced with the complex domestic and international development environment, China’s clean energy development requires active development of high-efficiency pollutant removal technologies, multi-pollutant coordinated control technologies, and wastewater treatment. Zero-emission technology and “three wastes” resource utilization technology, relying on demonstration projects to achieve industrialization as soon as possible, and at the same time, based on the atmospheric environment, water environment and soil environment capacity, scientifically deploy the coal-based energy chemical industry. In terms of safe development, the government should clarify the strategic significance and industrial positioning of coal-based energy chemicals as the “ballast stone” for my country’s energy security, and earnestly take the clean and efficient development and utilization of coal as the foothold and primary task of energy transformation and development.
